Hi I am a busy mother of two boys. One 17 years old and one who will be 5 soon! My 5 year old has severe Quadrapligic Cp. I am a 24-7 caregiver! My life is full of doctor appts, therapy and trying to run a household. I do not have time for much of a social life but it sure would be nice to find a mom to talk to who is in a similar situation. It is difficult to talk to someone about my life who does not have a disabled child because there is really no understanding of what we go through unlesss you have walked in these shoes. Believe it or not for the first time just a couple of weeks ago I got to meet a nice girl who has a child with CP similar to mine. I look forward to talking with her again. I love these mountains but it sure can be very isolating at times! So please join me and post something about yourself and lets talk!! I am finally begiining to understand even though we have very busy hectic lifes we need time for ourselfs, even if it is just to vent a little to someone who will understand.
