Welcome To Our Family Network
Hi I am Slade's mom. My son is 4 years old and has severe Quadriplegic cerebral palsy. As we have traveled this hard road it has become my passion to share resources educate and advocate for all of our children. I have met so many nice caring people whom have helped us along our way. I want to pass along the kindness they have shown us to other people in their time of need.
I believe that the biggest obstacle we face as parents and caregivers is the mountain of education and resource that we have to find and learn. This can be so overwhelming! My dream is to put together this website to make a user friendly place to find the resources that may make your life just a little easier. When I look at Slade's name as it is spelled I think S (Solutions) L (Logic) A (And) D (Dedicated) E (Educators). This is what we depend upon everyday. Solutions to our problems, a logical way to deal with them and the dedicated educator's who are out there to help us do our job as parents. Please join me in sharing your stories, needs and resources that you have found valuable to you. I welcome any advice on how to make this site the best source of information available.
